CTP, Europe's largest listed owner, developer and portfolio holder of logistics and industrial properties, celebrated the completion of a multifunctional logistics park in Linthe, Brandenburg, on 26 February 2025. A total of 20 guests attended the event. In addition to Sigrid Klink, Mayor of Linthe, representatives of the local economic development agency, the building authority and the developer as well as estate agents were also present.
CTP is thus completing the development of the 27,300 square metre logistics park. The new-build section comprises around 15,500 square metres of total usable space, of which around 15,000 square metres is hall space and around 500 square metres is office and social space. The sustainability measures include the installation of a photovoltaic system and heat pumps. This means that the new space meets the latest ESG standards. DGNB Gold certification is currently being implemented and certification is expected in the near future. The existing building was also retrofitted with a PV system as part of the new construction.
‘The completion of the new building is an enrichment for the business location of Linthe with many attractive opportunities for future users. We are delighted to have found a competent partner in CTP for the realisation of the project,’ commented Sigrid Klink, Mayor of Linthe.
The property is located in the Linthe industrial estate, a central regional location for companies in the logistics and construction sectors. Neighbouring industrial estates are home to numerous well-known companies such as Max Bögl, MAPCO, Stoof International, Liebherr and Oelrich Logistik. Thanks to its location directly on the A9 motorway and its proximity to the A2, the logistics park has excellent north-south and east-west connections. The business location of Berlin can be reached in around 30 minutes by car, Leipzig in just over an hour. Local public transport is also well connected with a bus station 300 metres away.
‘With the development in Linthe, we are continuing our strategy of developing sustainable and modern properties in outstanding locations. We are providing future users with space that can be used in a variety of ways. We would like to thank everyone present at the joint completion ceremony,’ says Timo Hielscher, Managing Director M&A at CTP Germany.
In spring 2024, the first user moved into the property as a regional logistics service provider. There are currently around 5,000 square metres available to potential tenants in the existing building, divisible from 1,000 square metres, and 15,500 square metres in the new building, divisible from 3,000 square metres.
