CTP, Europe's largest listed owner, developer and portfolio holder of logistics and industrial property, welcomes Dynapac as its second tenant at CTPark Bremen. The mechanical engineering company is a leading supplier of high-tech soil and asphalt rollers, construction equipment and road pavers. In addition to its headquarters in Wardenburg, Lower Saxony, the company has a global network of production facilities as well as service and sales offices. Since 2017, it has been part of the FAYAT Group, the largest independent player in the construction and industrial sector in France. Since November last year, the freight forwarding and logistics service provider Heinrich Hoppe has also been using around 12,400 square metres of space in the logistics park.
Dynapac rents around 9,865 square metres of floor space in CTPark Bremen for use as a warehouse for logistics services and spare parts storage. The space is divided into around 8,685 square metres of warehouse space, around 820 square metres of mezzanine space and around 260 square metres of office/social/technical and ancillary space. There are also approx. 20 car parking spaces. The move will create around 20 new jobs.
Christian Brockhoff, General Manager at Dynapac, comments: "With this move, we are adding an attractive logistics location in the heart of Europe to our international network. The new location will enable us to continue to grow for our customers and partners. We would like to thank CTP for the excellent cooperation and look forward to moving into the new space soon."
CTPark Bremen offers a total usable area of around 29,000 square metres and is equipped with WGK III waterproofing and an ESFR sprinkler system. The offices are air-conditioned and furnished to a high standard, and the layout can be customised for tenants, with the option of adding further office space, for example. To ensure sustainable operation, the park is equipped with a photovoltaic system and heat pumps for fossil-free heating. All buildings are certified to at least the DGNB Gold sustainability standard.
The logistics property was developed as a brownfield project on the former site of a municipal landfill. The park was honoured with the Brownfield24 Award in the "Best Brownfield Project (Logistics)" category in 2024 for its sustainable development.
With its location directly at the "Bremer Kreuz" junction of the A27 and A1 motorways, the property has excellent infrastructure with direct connections to international freight transport. The waterways can also be utilised in a variety of ways thanks to the links with the three largest German ports of Bremen, Jade-Weser-Port and Hamburg, as well as the proximity to the Weser and the North Sea. The Bremen Freight Village, one of the most important logistics centres in Europe, is also located not far from the site.
"With its special location and infrastructure at the centre of many logistics hubs, Bremen is an ideal location for Dynapac. Thanks to the economic conditions, logistics projects are supported in the region, and the local universities and colleges provide a well-trained pool of young talent," explains Marcus Breuer, Director of Business Development at CTP Germany. "With CTPark Bremen, we are providing sustainably developed, modern and flexibly usable space. We warmly welcome Dynapac as a new tenant and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration."
The new tenant moved into the space on 1 February this year.
Real estate agent Robert C. Spies acted as advisor for the letting.
