NAGEL-GROUP puts new logistics site in Rostock into operation
Rostock, 06 October 2026. The Nagel-Group is further expanding its logistics network in northern Germany and has moved into a new logistics property in VGP Park Rostock. The company is thus expanding its storage capacities and strengthening the supply of its customers in the region.

Nagel-Group opens new location in Rostock
"With our new logistics property in Rostock, we are expanding our capacities in northern Germany and creating the conditions to support our customers even more flexibly and reliably. The direct connection to the A19 motorway and the modern equipment offer the best conditions for this," says Achim Sinn, Regional Manager North-East of the Nagel-Group.
The property is located in the new VGP Park Rostock industrial park with a direct connection to the A19 motorway. Almost 11,000 square metres of storage, administration and technical space are available. Around 500 square metres are accounted for by office and technical areas.
The dry warehouse has around 16,500 pallet spaces in a wide-aisle racking system. A separate hall area offers additional options for value-added services such as packaging, packaging or labelling. This allows the Nagel-Group to flexibly adapt its services to the requirements of its customers.
The property also relies on modern solutions for the energy supply. A photovoltaic system supplies electricity for the operation of the building. Heat pumps heat the office space. Charging points for electric vehicles are also available.
The new location in Rostock has already started operations: Nagel Group customer Rügen Fisch GmbH, headquartered in Sassnitz on the island of Rügen, uses the new storage capacities for its versatile fish range. "From Rostock, we can efficiently distribute our products to the various sales markets. This makes the location particularly attractive for us," says Dr. Sven Massen, Managing Director of Rügen Fisch GmbH.
With the new location in Rostock, the Nagel-Group is strengthening its network in northern Germany and further expanding its presence in one of the most important economic centres in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
